Yoga for pregnant people

Join our vibrant mum-tribe and start building your network before baby arrives! A gentle, inclusive and supportive class designed to help you build strength, reduce discomfort, and prepare for birth - physically, mentally and emotionally. Suitable for all stages of pregnancy and all levels of yoga experience.

Yoga for parents and babies under two

A relaxed, baby-friendly yoga class for all parents (yes, dads too) that would like to bond with their baby, build strength and ease tension. Use this opportunity to connect with other local parents in a nurturing and fun environment. Bring a bouncer or soft floor blanket for your little one to stay close.

Frequently asked questions

  • All public classes are taught on Friday mornings at Frensham Girls School, Aquabliss centre, Mittagong. Check the contact page for a map.

  • Absolutely not! I welcome beginners as well as experienced yogis, and will always commit to giving newcomers some extra guidance. I also offer plenty of cues to help my students choose their own level of physical challenge.

  • If you are joining the pregnancy yoga class, then you will need a yoga mat, two yoga blocks and a bolster cushion. You are also welcome to bring a little blanket to cover yourself with in savasana. I can help you to find these items if you are not familiar with what to get. Just send an email!

    Once you move on to the parents-and-babies yoga class, you will only need your yoga mat and blocks.

    I recommend finding a yoga mat that is not overly thick, as they are more difficult to balance on.

  • Little Lotus only offers 5 class packs at the moment. This helps to create more consistency for each class. When purchasing your package, you will be committing to set dates, with each new series starting at the beginning of each new month. Click here to read all the class packs details.

  • Little Lotus does not currently offer trial classes, but have a look at the testimonials on the classes page … Joining us for 5 classes will give you a really good, well-rounded idea of what you can get out of our yoga offerings. We know that you will love it!

About your facilitator

Anzel van Biljon is an experienced, registered yoga teacher, mental health therapist and mum. She holds over 10 years of yoga teaching experience at some of Sydney’s biggest and well-loved yoga studios and over 750 hours of specialised yoga training in Hatha, Yin and pre-natal yoga. She’s also completing a Masters degree in Art Psychotherapy from the University of Western Sydney, and due to graduate in 2025. Combining her skills in movement and mental-health management, her goal is to holistically support you during this magical and challenging time of pregnancy and early parenthood.
